Welcome to Ms. Ehrich's website adventure: WHO   WHAT   HOW.
It will be the odyssey of YOU, WHO you are and what your care about.
I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone, because I am the person I know best. Frida Kahlo

!. First, we practice drawing a face by identifying key proportion issues.

2. We will draw parts of the face by forgetting what we think they look like, and focusing on SHAPES.

3. After practicing, you will draw your face by drawing the shape of the head, then taking the center line and moving it over so the center of the face is 1/3 of the head. (It will make more sense when we do it.)

4. You will work on making the portrait REALISTIC by looking at your digital photograph AND a mirror. YOu need both! Whenever you are not sure, use both points of reference.

5. After penciling in your portrait, you will begin painting.
